During Stage 1, employees start off in support positions. They are responsible for keeping the work sites organized and clean. As they are immersed in the work environment, they become acquainted with basic expectations as they learn the culture of DFS.

During Stage 2, employees work closely with team leads. They'll observe how tasks are completed and gain an understanding of our expected quality of work including the attention to detail that is demanded. They will directly assist with tasks assigned to them by their lead while being guided in their completion.

Stage 3 is the core training phase. During this period, they are given detailed hands-on-training in trades with increasing difficulty. As their competencies grow, they gain more independence concerning tasks they're skilled in. This is the longest stage of DFS employees development.

Leadership skills are instilled in Stage 4. Once our employees are trained in all skills and competencies, and meet all performance requirements, they are ready to start leading their own teams. DFS instills practices and methods that assist new leads in maintaining strong, effective, and productive teams.

During Stage 5, employees are moved into managerial roles. Stage 5 employees are involved in planning, strategizing, and expanding. They learn essential skills in contracting, business management, and regulation. These employees that rise to the cream of the crop are poised to help hundreds if not thousands of other prospective employees who share their same background.
